Kathmandu I Pokhara I Chitwan

  • Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. (1,300m/4,264ft)

    You will be received by the representative of K.J. Adventure Nepal at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. The representative will assist you and transfer you to your respective hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 03: Drive to Pokhara. (910m/2,984ft)

    After breakfast, we hit the road from Kathmandu to the marvelous city of Pokhara. The scenic drive through Prithvi Highway is vibrant with plenty of terraced fields, green valleys, occasional Bazaars, and beautiful terrains. Once we reach Pokhara, we can choose whether to rest or go for a walk around the Phewa Lake in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 04: Pokhara City Sightseeing. (910m/2,984ft)

    We start our day before sunrise with an excursion to Sarangkot. Located at the elevation of 1,592m, Sarangkot is a famous viewpoint in Pokhara that offers a spectacular sunrise view along with incredible glimpses of Annapurna Massif and Mt. Machhapuchhre. After breakfast, we explore around Pokhara valley. Devi’s Fall Located 2km to the southwest of Pokhara Airport, Devi’s Fall marks the site where the stream of Pardi Khola vanishes underground. This waterfall is also known as Patale Chhango among the locals. Gupteshwori Mahadev Cave Gupteshwori Mahadev Cave is located just across the road from Devi’s Fall. With an area of 2950 meters, this cave is reported to be the longest cave in Nepal. It accommodates a massive stalagmite that is worshipped as symbolic Shiva Lingam, a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Seti River Gorge The river of Seti passes right through the heart of Pokhara valley. This raging stream has carved narrow and cavernous chasm in the middle of the valley. The gorge can be best seen from a park near the Gurkha Museum. Bindhya Basini Temple The ancient Bindhya Basini Temple is a famous tourist destination in Pokhara. Nestled atop a tiny hill in Old Pokhara, this holy temple is a shrine dedicated to Lord Durga, an incarnation of Parvati.

  • Day 05: Drive to Chitwan. (415m/1,362ft)

    After breakfast in Pokhara, we depart for our wildlife adventure to Chitwan. The 4-hour drive via Mugling-Narayanghat road beholds more scenic views and a vibrant atmosphere of the plains. Upon arriving at Chitwan, we check-in to our resort. In the afternoon, we go for an elephant safari and explore the jungle of Chitwan. This jungle is home to several wild animals including one-horned rhinoceros, spotted leopard, deer, wild boar, monkeys, Himalayan sloth bear, and Royal Bengal tiger. After 2-3 hours of jungle adventure, we return back to our resort. Overnight at the resort in Chitwan.

  • Day 06: Wildlife Activities at Chitwan. (415m/1,362ft)

    On this day, we explore the wilderness of Chitwan with a full day Jungle trekking. We start our adventure with a dugout canoe ride. It is probably the best way to observe the crocodiles. After the canoe ride, we explore the jungle with a full day jungle trekking. With a walk deeper into the isolated forest, we experience the wilderness and discover the wildlife. The unexploited forest of Chitwan homes plenty of wildlife, birds, flora, and fauna. Along the way, we might also discover some fascinating wild animals. Overnight at the resort in Chitwan.

  • Day 07: Chitwan - Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

    On this day, after breakfast, we retrace our scenic route back to Kathmandu.Upon arrival, we will be escorted to the hotel where we can relax and freshen up. In the evening, the representative of K.J Adventures will pick you for the final day dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 08: International Departure.

    Farewell day! According to your flight time, the representative of K.J. Adventures will receive you from the hotel and escort you to the airport for the final departure.
