This typical village opens up with the panoramic mountain view of the mighty Annapurna II, III and IV. Upon leaving Ghyaru, the trail ascends another 500m before descending to the village of Ngawal. Unlike most of the villages in Manang, Ngawal is quite large and lively village.

The trek from Ngawal to Manang is relatively easier. We start our day with a steep downhill towards the valley floor of Humde.
